I’ve been playing for over 20 years, and learned a lot of lessons the hard way. One of my favorite things to do is to help guitarists not go through the same pitfalls I encountered early on.
I geek out about custom, well crafted made things. Objects where you can feel the quality, know it’s one of a kind, and that’ll last you a lifetime. The other thing that is of the utmost importance to me, is that the company I’m dealing with has great customer service.
StrapGraphics is a guitar strap manufacturer that’s been making straps in the U.S. since 2008. They’re based out of Portland, and offer a range of straps that are incredibly customizable. When I’m talking about great customer service, I’m talking about Nate from SG, who helped me along with the process, and was a breeze to deal with.
There’s a certain joy I feel when I open an app for the first time, and I notice that the developer has hit it out of the park in regards to design and user interface. This is the feeling I had years ago when first trying Thomas Grapperon’s app Chord! I’m happy to say that I received a similar feeling when beta testing Grapperon’s new songwriting app, SongKit.
