We’ve seen countless guitar players on YouTube attempt to do a guitar swing, only to fail miserably because their strap got disconnected from their guitar, and their guitar took a nasty spill. Today we’re going to be talking about the importance of using strap locks, and how they’ll save you a trip to the repair shop.
Hey guys! Wanted to write a quick post to kick off this week. When I’m practicing at home, I almost always have a Snark tuner sitting clipped to the headstock of my guitar.
It’s uninspiring to play while you’re out of tune, and for less than 10 bucks you can get a really solid clip-on tuner. This thing seems to last forever on a single battery, and is even bright if you want to use it on stage.
I appreciate everyone who reads Chasing Sound, but my favorite readers are the ones who are signed up to Six String Sunday. I try to give away something cool (a guitar book, a pedal, an accessory) at least once a month.
My last contest was exclusively for subscribers to my newsletter, and this one will be exclusive to them too! Sign up for free here, and in next week’s issue, I’ll tell you how to enter. Good luck!
