Winter NAMM for 2020 has just wrapped up, and in today’s post I go over all of my favorite new gear announcements from the show. There were SO many companies releasing SO much new gear, it can be a bit overwhelming - but this wrap up post should give you a good summary of what I really enjoyed seeing.

Play It Loud: The Instruments of Rock N' Roll
Towards the end of September, 2 awesome things came together. The first was that I picked up a new iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the second was that I had a chance to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC to see the last weekend of the Play It Loud exhibit.
The exhibit featured some of the most mind bogglingly rare and famous instruments of all time. I couldn’t believe how well the Met pulled together SO many classic instruments in one spot.
I shot over 100 photos, and made them into a slideshow which you can check out below. If you made it out to the exhibit or have any questions about it, feel free to reach out to me on social. I’m @ChasingSound everywhere.

Win The Real Book
I’ve never given away The Real Book on this site before - but today I’m running a 2 week contest that’ll give you a chance to win a copy of this great book. This is a book that should be in every jazz guitar player’s library. This is the last contest I’m running until the holiday season, so good luck!
