Play Guitar Hits App Review

If you're just starting out on guitar, or even if you've played guitar for years, you should check out Play Guitar Hits. It's an app from the makers of the excellent transcription software Guitar Pro.

The app brings a starting catalog of 50 songs if you opt in to their monthly in-app purchase, or you can buy songs individually. The customization will give you the option to view tablature, the regular staff, and even a virtual guitar neck.

You can turn off the guitar completely to make a backing track version for yourself, so you can practice what you're learning, there's a metronome, views of the fretting and picking hand, tips and tricks, and lots more.
